Our Story
Hi, I'm Zoe, the owner of Hazard Heroes.
My cleaning career began in 2008 when I needed work that fitted around my children and their school life. After some time away in a role as a teaching assistant and achieving a foundation degree in learning and teaching, I felt drawn back to cleaning and decided to give it another go. In 2023 I started out self-employed for a year, and during that time realised I wanted to grow beyond domestic cleaning. I invested in biohazard training, set up as a limited company, and began employing staff. Today, we are a close-knit team of five, proudly offering domestic, commercial, and specialist biohazard cleaning services.

Where did the name come from?
We loved the name Hazard Heroes because it combines strength with positivity. “Hazard” acknowledges the tough, messy jobs we take on, while “Heroes” shows that we make areas safe again. It’s a name that stands out and is positive.
